Filed under: Uncategorized — rahmawatibagaslokardatika @ 2:43 am

Tiap hari pulang pergi jakarta-bekasi dengerin lagu ini,,sebenernya semua lagu di albumnya Jason Mraz,,automatically fallin in love with all his songs,,

lets sing together lah :D

“LUCKY”

Do you hear me,
I’m talking to you
Across the water across the deep blue ocean
Under the open sky, oh my, baby I’m trying
Boy I hear you in my dreams
I feel your whisper across the sea
I keep you with me in my heart
You make it easier when life gets hard

I’m lucky I’m in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

They don’t know how long it takes
Waiting for a love like this
Every time we say goodbye
I wish we had one more kiss
I’ll wait for you I promise you, I will

I’m lucky I’m in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Lucky we’re in love every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday

And so I’m sailing through the sea
To an island where we’ll meet
You’ll hear the music fill the air
I’ll put a flower in your hair
Though the breezes through trees
Move so pretty you’re all I see
As the world keeps spinning round
You hold me right here right now

I’m lucky I’m in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
I’m lucky we’re in love every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday

Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooooh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

“I’M YOURS”

Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you’re so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks
and now I’m trying to get back
Before the cool done run out
I’ll be giving it my best test
Nothing’s going to stop me but divine intervention

I reckon it’s again my turn to win some or learn some
I won’t hesitate no more, no more

It cannot wait, I’m yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you’re free
Look into your heart and you’ll find love love love
Listen to the music of the moment maybe sing with me
A lá peaceful melody
It’s your God-forsaken right to be loved love loved love loved

So I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours

I’ve been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
My breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and laughed
I guess what I’ma saying is there ain’t no better reason
To rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons
It’s what we aim to do
Our name is our virtue

I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate
Our time is short
this is our fate, I’m yours

Well no no, well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you’re free
Look into your heart and you’ll find the sky is yours
Listen to the music of the moment come and dance with me
A lá one big family (2nd time: A lá happy family; 3rd time: A lá peaceful melody)
It’s your God-forsaken right to be loved love love love

I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours

No please, don’t complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours

No please, don’t hesitate
no more, no more
It cannot wait
The sky is your’s!

It’s time for America to educate itself about Muslims June 10, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — rahmawatibagaslokardatika @ 10:16 am

President Barack Obama has extended an open hand of friendship in his landmark Cairo speech to the Muslim world – seeking to engage Muslims with a commitment of mutual respect. No one can doubt his sincerity. From his first days in office, he has emphasized the importance of embarking on a new chapter in relations between the United States and the world’s Muslims. But this aspiration will remain elusive without acknowledging the sad fact that most Americans remain woefully ignorant about the basic facts of Islam, and about the broad geographic and cultural diversity of Muslim cultures.

A majority of public opinion polls taken in the last four years show that the views of Americans about Islam continue to be a casualty of the attacks of September 11, 2001. Washington Post-ABC News polls from 2006, for example, found that nearly half of Americans regard Islam “unfavorably,” while one in four admits to prejudicial feelings against Muslims. American views of the Muslim world are so colored by the conflict in the Middle East and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that US citizens have no collective appreciation of the fact that most Muslims live in Asia. Or that the four countries with the largest Muslim populations – Indonesia, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh – are all cultures with millennia-old histories of coexisting with other religions and cultures. A 2005 report by the US State Department’s Advisory Committee on Cultural Diplomacy called for a new vision of cultural diplomacy that “can enhance US national security in subtle, wide-ranging and sustainable ways.” In 2008, a bipartisan group of American leaders – the US-Muslim Engagement Project – convened by Search for Common Ground and the Consensus Building Institute, issued a report calling for a new direction for US relations with the Muslim world. A primary goal of this effort would be “to improve of mutual respect and understanding between Americans and Muslims around the world.” It is time for US citizens to commit themselves to working alongside the Obama administration to turn a new leaf in relations with the Muslim world. The first step is to make a concerted effort to become better educated about the multifaceted societies that comprise the one billion-strong Muslim population throughout the world. The power of culture resides in its ability to transform perceptions. From June 5-14, New Yorkers are experiencing the rich diversity of Muslim cultures through a city-wide initiative, entitled “Muslim Voices: Arts and Ideas.” More than 300 artists, writers, performers, and scholars from more than 25 countries, including the United States, are gathering for this unprecedented festival and conference. Presentations include a dizzying variety of artistic forms from the Muslim world, ranging from the traditional (calligraphy, Sufi devotional voices) to the contemporary (video installations, avant-garde Indonesian theater, and Arabic hip-hop). A companion policy conference has attracted scholars and artists from around the world exploring the relationship between cultural practice and public policy and suggesting new directions for cultural diplomacy. A critical goal of this project is to help break stereotypes and create a more nuanced understanding of Muslim societies. Despite our enthusiasm for the possibilities of what this initiative can do to broaden understanding, a performance, a film, or an art exhibition cannot find solutions to all of the problems that divide Americans and the Muslim world. The current distance is rooted as much in ignorance as in hard political issues, many of which go beyond what arts and culture can realistically address. However, cultural diplomacy and initiatives such as “Muslim Voices” can open the door to the reality of the Muslim world as a rich space for world-class artistic production. That, in turn, can encourage an interest in addressing the harder political issues with respect and a sense of equity. For too long, the differences between the US and the Muslim world have been framed not in terms of diversity, but as the foundations of a permanent global conflict. But when people participate in an aesthetic experience that both addresses and transcends a particular culture, perceptions are bound to change. America has reached a pivotal moment in its national and global history, with new hopes for intercultural exchange, dialogue, and mutual understanding. Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton say that theirs will be an age of “smart power” that will effectively use all tools of diplomacy at their disposal, including cultural diplomacy. The US must focus once again on the arts as a meaningful way to promote stronger cultural engagement and, ultimately, to find new channels of communication with the Muslim world. Doing so will show that relations need not be defined only through political conflict. Rather, there is now an opportunity to define connections between America and the Muslim world by sharing the richness and complexity of Muslim artistic expressions – as a vital step in finding grounds for mutual respect.

DISMENORE June 4, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — rahmawatibagaslokardatika @ 6:53 am

Halah,,halah tiap bulan musti jugkir balik kaya gini,, bukannya gak bersyukur diingetin jadi perempuan, tapi sakitnya gak nahan,, Gejala yang setiap bulan gw alamin namanya disminore,,namanya keren kan,,padahal artinya nyeri haid (LOL)

berikut sekilas tentang disminore:

Faktor Risiko
Biasanya dismenore primer timbul pada masa remaja, yaitu sekitar 2-3 tahun setelah menstruasi pertama. Sedangkan dismenore sekunder seringkali mulai timbul pada usia 20 tahun. Faktor lainnya yang bisa memperburuk dismenore adalah:
-rahim yang menghadap ke belakang (retroversi)
-kurang berolah raga

Have to not maybe May 20, 2009

Being single and Happy :D

Buat kalian,,Sahabatku May 19, 2009

Filed under: live — rahmawatibagaslokardatika @ 11:03 am

SUDAH May 14, 2009

Kini hanya didalam hati aku memangilmu “sayang”

Aku cinta, aku sayang, aku lepas kamu pergi

Take care and I Love You

Live is a mistery,,so do you

You are my mistery,,till today

And i’m sinking in this misery

Don’t know how i can fallin’ in love with you

Why you don’t try little hard for me

Why you give up in me

Am I too difficult to understand?

I’m sick of it,,crush and burn every day

Every time i miss u, tears falling through my eyes,,

What a day

When you left me in that rainy day, i believe that this isn’tn the end of my llife.

But I’m wrong,,Time keep on ticking but i’m still in here lying on this bed and start crying coz i’m missing you.

What a day huh,,

Belum sempat ku membagi kebahagiaanku
Belum sempat ku membuat dia tersenyum
Haruskah ku kehilangan ’tuk kesekian kali
Tuhan kumohon jangan lakukan itu
Sebab ku sayang dia
Sebab ku kasihi dia
Sebab ku tak rela
Tak s’lalu bersama
Ku rapuh tanpa dia

Seperti kehilangan harap

Jikalau memang harus ku alami duka
Kuatkan hati ini menerimanya
